This is my last official post to this account. If for some reason you’re still not friends with my new account roonerspism, then feel free to go and add me there. Just a reminder.

As for an actual post, I finally decided to do this meme that I saw on about half of my flist. And I did the negative one too, just ‘cause. Click on the links below to tell me what you think of me! :3 Do them both, and don't be scared to insult me.

Hm... Well I got over that pretty quickly. Much better than Wimbledon, I guess maybe because I wasn't exactly expecting a win.

Roger crying was just about the most heartbreaking thing ever, though <3

Yeah, I'm a big dweeb.

In other news, I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button today (at last!). I really loved it. I though Brad Pitt was amazing, and for most of the time I actually forgot it was him acting, he was so good. Cate Blanchett as well. I didn't cry though, so I guess that iron heart of mine is still firmly in place.

And to end, just another reminder to people that may not yet know, I have a new LJ account - roonerspism - so go add me if you still want to be my friend and I haven't added you yet.

*runs off to write fic*

Hang on, there's someone at the microwave

Random thing of the day: Tennis folk, did anyone else see the young guy in the crowd at Nadal's match tonight holding a sign that said "Bring back the sleeveless!"? Ha. Now then...

Tennis update.
Roger won. Rafa won. Semis now. So far, so good.
Jim Courier continues to be lulzy.
Oh, and let's not forget Gilles Simon is a tennis campire.

Other update.
Life is dull and the heat is hot.
Writer's block continues.
But I'm seeing The Whitlams on Friday.

That would appear to be all. Let's fill up some space with a meme!

It's philosophy that you can dance to...

For the win!!!
And Rafa won too!

Anyone wanna dance in celebration with me?

.... *dances like a loon*

Okay, it's too hot for dancing.

This calls for brand new icon of love and joy.

It was only like, eight metres out.

Well, people at the Australian Open are officially the strangest tennis fans I've laid eyes on to date. For evidence I present "Exhibit A: a man in a dress"...

Uh huh  o_O

Anyway, I saw 'Valkyrie' at the cinema tonight. Summary review time!
It was fairly good, with a fair amount of suspense considering I already knew how the story was going to end. The accents annoyed me, because some were American, some were British, some were classic German, and Hitler sounded vaguely French. The costuming was great. And I have come to the conclusion that Tom Cruise looks far sexier with an eye patch. (Although considering I find him totally unattractive otherwise, that's not saying much.)
Three and a half stars.

I need to make sure I wake up in time for Roger's match tomorrow. I should theoretically go to sleep now.

... I might go read some fanfic.

Tennis commentators win forever and ever. ILU Jim Courier, rofl.

Now, can someone please help me with this bloody writer's block?! I seem to be able to do about a paragraph of prose or a few lines of crappy poetry a day, and can usually only manage that at three o'clock in the morning. Someone inspire me! Or kick my butt until I write something worthwhile. Or offer to read through something I'm working on and give me ideas. Or smack me and tell me to get over it and do something more productive with my time. Whatever you think is best.

Arrgh, so I can't write and neither of the pet shops I handed in my resume to have called me for an interview.
Thank God for the tennis. Helps me stay sane.

And by sane, I mean 'on the verge of insanity but grounded enough not to fall off the fence into more dangerous territory'.

My stomach hurts. And I can't find my deodorant.
Hey Kate, I'll be seeing you in April bb! :D

Yes'm, the family and I are officially headed east at the end of March. Comedy migration time! I've been so worried for the past few months that this wasn't going to actually happen, now that it's confirmed I'm so relieved.
I'll be staying in a backpacker hostel for the first four nights, while my stupid relatives get to stay at a hotel for free. Apparently a 'family' is defined as two adults and two kids. Hnf. But it should be good anyway - hopefully I'll meet some cool foreign people.
Then most likely we'll be staying in the same cottage we rented last time, in Richmond. It hasn't been decided how long we're staying for, but at this stage it looks like at least two weeks.

So, because I like to plan ahead really far (and just 'cause I'm bored and want to make silly plans with people) if the couple of you who live over Melbourne way would like to meet up while I'm over there, let me know and we can scheme about crazy things to do, then not do them ever.

Also, I demand everyone go and look at my Harry Potter art work HERE.

That is all.
Over and out!

I decided to join in on the honesty meme. Click the word 'honesty' below, and leave your anonymous comment to let me know what you really think of me.

Hope everyone's holidays are going well.

Lol XD

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In May I ruled Iran as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). In November I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). Last Sunday I donated bone marrow to miss_kate18 in a life-saving procedure (300 points). In September I punched lenfish in the arm (-10 points). In August I gave frogglesthefrog a kidney (1000 points).

Overall, I've been nice (978 points). For Christmas I deserve an Easy-Bake Oven!
